Made with Umeboshi (Japanese pickled plum), this beer has a beautiful pink colour and caresses the palate with a subtle, sour and salty taste of pickled plums that have been infused during the brewing process. Specially made for our partner restaurant Mizu (@mizuizakaya).
Umeboshi is used in Japanese cuisine in a myriad of ways: as a snack with rice wine, as a topping and a filling and even as a soothing ingredient in porridge. Umeboshi’s use is BIG in JAPAN and in this beer as well! Kanpai!
